Privacy
This notice summarises the personal data handled by the current portal implementation. The deploying organisation remains responsible for validating the final production notice, lawful bases, retention schedule and contacts.
Data processed
- Account identity and login information, profile, roles, ORCID where supplied, languages and institutional affiliations.
- Editorial activity: authorship, translations, review assignments and reports, comments and resource workflow history.
- Training-management data entered for programmes, sessions and trainees. Access is restricted to the relevant managers/contributors and editorial administrators.
- Privacy-minimised first-party usage statistics described in the Cookies & tracking notice.
Purposes
The data support authentication, attribution of contributions, editorial review, training administration, security and aggregate service usage analysis. Production deployment must document the applicable lawful basis for each purpose.
Retention
Sheet and public-course audience view events are configured for a default maximum of 760 days and can be purged with the maintenance command. Account, editorial and training-management retention must be defined by the deploying organisation according to its operational and legal obligations.
Your rights and contact
The production privacy contact has not yet been configured. Set FBI_PRIVACY_CONTACT before public release.
Depending on the applicable legal basis and legislation, users may have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and portability. Requests are handled by the deploying organisation.
External services
The current interface loads selected open-source JavaScript packages from jsDelivr and esm.sh. External videos or linked media may contact their respective providers when the user opens or embeds them. Production deployments may choose to self-host dependencies.
